Wow. Somehow, when you see them write about your country in English, everything becomes more serious. During last few months the festival of aburds was so big, that I'm kind of numb. I think we've normalised all of it. In June we had so many scandals day after day, that each of them should be really huge — but they just were left alone. Skipped. The things our 'public' television says and does would cause a public outrage a few years ago (or at least scrunity). But now? Everyone accepts it for a fact and it's quite scary. In theory you can see that everything is not right and should be different, but inside you think that it's just how it is.

Glad to see it. Even though I'm quite far removed generation-wise from my family in Poland, every time I hear about them in the news it's always an embarrassment to share blood. I don't know if they're the worst country for LGBT treatment in Europe, but they certainly seem to be trying to top the list.
