I'm a graduate student entering my last year of work. My thesis chair and advisor, with whom I'm pretty close, has a sports card collecting hobby. It turns out, it's not just a hobby. I saw a collection of cards I recognized from their house and... turns out it's more than a few cards in some protective sleeves. It's a $20K+ empire of basketball cards that span the history of the sport.A guy who really fucked me over posted about it in an AskReddit about evil acts. I called him out on it, he tried to deny that he was talking about me. I outlined exactly how I could prove he was lying and he then deleted his account.

Glad to see it. Even though I'm quite far removed generation-wise from my family in Poland, every time I hear about them in the news it's always an embarrassment to share blood. I don't know if they're the worst country for LGBT treatment in Europe, but they certainly seem to be trying to top the list.
