But a lot of men are (for good reason) often worried or discouraged by the idea of working with young kids, because of the fear of being perceived this way, even when they're really good at it and have a strong interest in teaching, it's awful :(We have to fix this negative perception in our society. I'm a woman and an elementary school teacher and I often wish my profession was more balanced in terms of gender, varied role models are so important for kids.

Glad to see it. Even though I'm quite far removed generation-wise from my family in Poland, every time I hear about them in the news it's always an embarrassment to share blood. I don't know if they're the worst country for LGBT treatment in Europe, but they certainly seem to be trying to top the list.
