Don't we need 60% or more of the population to be infected to develop herd immunity, though? If that's the case, how's China opening for business already with no major issues? They haven't reached 60% infected yet (have they?), and still factories and businesses are back and even Wuhan is slowly returning to normal. Surely they wouldn't do this if they thought the virus would just flare up again (which I assume is what logically would happen once you lift a lockdown on a country that hasn't developed herd immunity yet). So what's going on? Did 60% of China already get infected? Did they seriously overlook something so basic that random people like me on the internet caught on to? Or (and I think this one is the more likely scenario) is there something here I'm not seeing?
