Not shying away from a debate, I explained in the comments that I have adopted a boy who couldn't be looked after his birth parents, and that I'm also in the process of fostering. The right wing polish community said that I was a horrible person from adopting and that I've deprived that child from being adopted by a straight couple. I explained that in my country (UK) there is a shortage of adopters and too many children.... and had I not adopted, the child would likely have never had a family.

Glad to see it. Even though I'm quite far removed generation-wise from my family in Poland, every time I hear about them in the news it's always an embarrassment to share blood. I don't know if they're the worst country for LGBT treatment in Europe, but they certainly seem to be trying to top the list. I had to tell my ex wife that I had erectile dysfunction. I had gone to the doctors that day because we have had complications while having sex for the last few months, I was extremely shocked to hear I had ED.
