My entire family found my Reddit profile because of George Takei. He has a website that reposts the top comments from ask Reddit stories. My brother follows it on Facebook. I posted a story about my aunt meeting Steven Tyler and having no idea who he was. This was the headline story for the post on Facebook. My brother immediately sent it out to the whole family and wanted to know which one of us posted the story.

Glad to see it. Even though I'm quite far removed generation-wise from my family in Poland, every time I hear about them in the news it's always an embarrassment to share blood. I don't know if they're the worst country for LGBT treatment in Europe, but they certainly seem to be trying to top the list.
